Gemstones

Gemstones come in a huge variety of colours, shapes and sizes and are a great way of representing your personal style, or birthstone. Vibrant, coloured gemstones such as yellow, pink and cognac diamonds and sapphires, emeralds and rubies give platinum jewellery a fresh, bold look. The classic colourless diamond is timeless and with a natural whiteness that never fades and won't reflect colour into the diamond platinum is the perfect and most secure setting.

When choosing a gemstone, the most important consideration is that it is right for you. Set in platinum, your gemstone jewellery will be a reminder of your most special memories forever.

The 4 Cs provide information on how to choose the perfect diamond.

Cut - refers to the angles, shapes and proportions of the diamond which determine its fire and sparkle.
Colour - defines the dgree to which a diamond is colourless on a scale from D-Z. The more colourless the diamond, the more valuable it is.
Clarity - is determind by the number of inclusions (small marks within the diamond). The fewer the inclusions, the more valuable and rare the diamond is.
Carat - describes the weight of the diamond, which is related to its size. Smaller diamonds can be more expensive than larger ones depending on the quality of their cut, colour and clarity.
